Pavitra Kandadai

Pavitra Kandadai is Vice President at Fernweh Group. Prior to joining Fernweh, Pavitra was at eBay Inc. (NASDAQ: EBAY) for over 13 years in various roles. Most recently, she led controllership activities such as operationalizing new accounting guidance, ensuring smooth financial accounting close and reporting, building, and monitoring effective controls and reviews around Data Center, Capex and Corporate processes. She has also led various transformation initiatives including spin-offs working cross-functionally across teams and geographies. Prior to this role, she was an integral part of the Sarbanes Oxley Program Management Office at eBay Inc.

Pavitra started her career in Public Accounting with Novogradac and Ernst & Young working with Real Estate, Technology, and Life Sciences clients. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Madras, India and is a licensed CPA in the State of California. Pavitra is also a graduate member of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

Pavitra is passionate about education and the arts. She is a Director at The Reach Foundation, an organization that is committed to reducing the opportunity gap between those who can afford college and those who cannot by funding and mentoring students who demonstrate a strong work ethic. As part of this Foundation, Pavitra runs a mentoring program for first gen to college high school seniors at a local Bay Area High School. She also recently joined the Board of the Cantabile Youth Singers of Silicon Valley which is an internationally recognized choral program providing world-class music education, vocal training, and performance opportunities to Silicon Valley communities.
